Warehouse Associate at ALLY BUILDING SOLUTIONS – Riverview, Florida

Ally Building Solutions provides flooring products and quality installation, a full line of window treatments, a wide range of cabinetry options, and design studio solutions to new home builders in greater Orlando, Jacksonville, Tampa Bay, and Fort Myers.

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Associate & Material Handler to join our Tampa team. The Material Handler will pick and stage orders, accept incoming shipments, and oversee the general organization of the warehouse.

Warehouse Associate & Material Handler Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately pull jobs daily capturing all needed stock and ordered materials.
• Assist with cycle counting of inventory and restock supplies.
• Receive materials ensuring all deliveries are accurate, then document in system.
• Accept, verify, inspect, and record all deliveries according to policy.
• Record, report, and return defective items.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area.
• Notify Team Lead of any shipping or receiving issues.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Warehouse Associate & Material Handler Job Requirements:

• Receiving experience highly preferred.
• Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience
• The ability to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.
• The ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds consistently and up to eighty pounds occasionally.
