Location: Boone, North Carolina | Full-Time | 8:00am - 4:30pm

- Compensation: Starting pay begins at $20.37/ per hour, with competitive rates based on experience and education.
- Schedule: Full-time, variable shifts including weekends and holidays.

- Supervise and coordinate pharmacy technician responsibilities and daily workflow.
- Support management in planning and implementing departmental goals and process improvements.
- Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to pharmacy technicians.
- Assist in daily pharmacy operations to ensure timely and accurate medication preparation and distribution.
- Maintain compliance with all ARHS policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and effective communication in all interactions.
Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program.
Experience:
-
3–5 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy setting preferred.

Must possess Level 3 pharmacy technician experience.
Licenses/Certifications:

Current Pharmacy Technician Certification required.

- Lift, push, pull, or transfer up to and over 50 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, and bending throughout the shift.
- Exposure to chemicals, electrical/mechanical equipment, and hospital environment risks.
- May work variable hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
