JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for all the production processes, such as checking for defects, vacuuming, labeling, and monitor manufacturing equipment. Meet quality standards and deadlines for products. Closely follow safety procedures to prevent accidents in environments where materials may be hazardous.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assure that the daily goals are met.
Maintain accurate records of production data, including volume produced, downtime, and quality checks.
Assure that work practices are in the guidelines of OSHA standards.
Maintain a clean work environment and follow the “own your zone” standards for the shop floor.
Work with others and avoid conflict.
Follow all company rules and policies.
Follow all safety rules and ISO requirements.
Assure that all products are built to the highest standard of quality.
Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Ability to operate a computer and navigate various programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a high school diploma and minimum 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing/production.
Must be mechanically inclined and good with hand tools.
• Must be able to read and understand the weekly production schedule.
Must be willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas when needed.
Forklift Operator preferred
Must be capable of lifting 50LBS
Must be flexible with shift start times, when required.
PHYSICAL DEMAND:
Must possess strength, stamina, and mobility to perform medium to heavy physical work, to work around machines, to climb and descend ladders, to operate a variety of tools and equipment, and to operate a motor vehicle; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen and to distinguish colors in wiring; hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone or radio. Frequent walking in operational areas to identify problems or hazards. Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard, calculator, and to operate tools and equipment. Incumbents in this classification bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and inspect work sites. Incumbents must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds or heavier weights with assistance and/or the use of proper equipment.
