Pain Management (House Visits) - Nurse Practitioner (NP) at Med-Care Providers – Las Vegas, Nevada

We are expanding our specialty services and seeking a Nurse Practitioner with experience in Pain Management to conduct in-home visits and provide personalized, integrative pain care to seniors and medically complex patients.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and empathetic NP who can assess, diagnose, and manage chronic and acute pain through in-home consultations. The ideal candidate will prioritize patient safety and evidence-based approaches, while coordinating care with primary providers and specialists.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct home visits for patients requiring pain management
• Perform comprehensive pain assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Prescribe appropriate therapies including medications, injections, and non-pharmacological approaches
• Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans accordingly
• Educate patients and caregivers on pain management strategies and safe medication use
• Maintain clear documentation in the EMR system
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams

Requirements:

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the state of Nevada
• DEA license with Schedule II-V prescribing authority
• Experience in pain management, geriatrics, or palliative care preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, compassion, and communication skills
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient homes
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
