Job Overview:
As a Dialysis Technician, key duties include setting up/disinfection of equipment, monitoring patients with vital signs during treatment, initiating/terminating dialysis treatments and also providing patient education.

Our physicians and staff offer years of experience and operate out of three locations that are convenient to area residents. We emphasize expert diagnosis, treatment and early intervention for those at greatest risk.
To better serve our patients, all three Trinitas dialysis facilities have achieved 5-Diamond status through the Quality Insights Renal Network 3. The 5-Diamond Patient Safety Program was developed as an innovative training and recognition program to assist dialysis providers in increasing awareness and building a culture of safety among patients.
Qualifications:
Required:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
- One year of nursing assistant experience
Certifications and Licenses Required:
- Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association upon hire date
Scheduling Requirements:
- Shift working, 5 days 7am-2pm
- Scheduled rotating Saturdays
- Full-Time (FT)
Essential Functions:
- Machine Setup & Operation: Assemble, test, and sanitize hemodialysis machines and components (dialyzer, tubing)
- Patient Care & Monitoring: Monitor vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature) before, during, and after treatment
- Access Management: Clean and prepare vascular access sites (fistula, graft, or catheter) and initiate/terminate blood flow
- Safety & Emergency Response: Ensure equipment settings (conductivity, temperature, pressures) meet safety standards
- Respond to patient instability or machine alarms
- Documentation: Record patient data, treatment parameters, and progress in medical records
- Patient Education: Explain procedures to patients, reduce anxieties, and educate on care
