Vehicle Protection Sales Specialist

We are looking for a Vehicle Protection Sales Specialist to join our Post Purchase Sales team. In this role, you will connect with customers who already own a vehicle and help them understand the benefits of extended protection coverage. By building rapport and identifying customer needs, you will guide customers toward the protection plan that best fits their vehicle and driving habits while contributing to the continued growth of APCO’s protection programs.
What You'll Do
  • Connect with customers from company-provided warm leads to discuss vehicle protection coverage options
  • Quickly build rapport and understand customer needs to recommend the most appropriate coverage plan
  • Clearly explain product features, benefits, and pricing to help customers make informed decisions
  • Use internal systems to manage leads, track follow-ups, and maintain customer records
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and stay current on available coverage options
  • Meet or exceed individual performance metrics including sales conversions, calls, and lead development
  • Participate in team meetings, coaching sessions, and ongoing sales development

Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous sales or customer service experience (inside sales or phone-based experience preferred)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule within posted business hours
  • Comfort working in a remote environment with multiple systems and screens
  • Strong verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of sales experience, ideally in inside sales or telesales
  • Experience working with CRM or lead management systems
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets

Schedule Expectations

This role operates within the following hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM CST
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM CST

Your weekday schedule is set and would vary based on a varying 9 hour shift (1 hour for lunch). Each Warranty Specialist will work one late shift per week and one Saturday a month. You must have a flexible schedule and be available to work during the stated hours as needed. Schedules may be subject to change based on staffing or business needs.
