Position SummaryWe are seeking a passionate and talented HR Generalist to join our growing team. The HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting the daily operations and processes of the Human Resources department, ensuring consistent execution of HR programs across the organization. Working closely with HR Business Partners, Specialists, and HR Coordinators, this role focuses on HR systems administration, employee lifecycle transactions, compliance support, and HR data management. Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Lifecycle Operations
- Own and manage core HR processes across the employee lifecycle — including hiring, onboarding, job changes, promotions, and offboarding.
- Prepare offer letters, oversee pre-employment screening, and coordinate onboarding
- logistics with the HR Coordinator.
- Oversee exit processes, ensuring smooth transitions and compliance with internal requirements.
- Develop, improve and deliver new-hire orientations in collaboration with the HR team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
HR Systems & Data Administration
- Serve as primary HRIS administrator, managing workflows, data integrity, permissions,
- and reporting.
- Generate and distribute routine reports on headcount, turnover, and other HR metrics.
- Assist with non-HR systems administration as it pertains to training, onboarding and compliance.
- Partner with HR teams to support reporting needs and troubleshoot data issues.
Compliance & Policy Administration
- Support compliance with all applicable labor laws and company policies.
- Maintain digital personnel files and ensure all required documentation is collected and up to date.
- Assist with internal audits and regulatory reporting as needed.
- Recommend policy or process updates to strengthen compliance and consistency.
- Partner with the HR team to support compliance programs, including leave of absence and accommodations.
Employee Relations & Engagement Support
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions and HR inquiries, escalating complex issues to HR leadership or HRBPs.
- Support HR team members on employee relations, performance management, and engagement initiatives.
- Contribute to culture and recognition programs, team events, and communications that promote connection and inclusion.
Process Improvement & Projects
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and employee experience within HR processes.
- Participate in and help lead HR projects such as policy development, HRIS enhancements, and program rollouts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Payroll, IT, Finance, and Operations) to streamline workflows and optimize tools.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in an HR role, prior experience as an HR Coordinator or Generalist preferred.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, systems and employment regulations required.
Skills:
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong HRIS and data management skills (Paylocity experience a plus).
- Working knowledge of employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, etc.).
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build trust at all levels.
- Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
- Ability to work independently.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Docs.
- Certifications: PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent certification preferred but not required.

- Schedule: Full-time
- May require additional availability or flexibility for escalations.
- Regular meetings with your teams, departments, or leadership to ensure alignment.
- Must be able to sit or remain at a workstation for extended periods of time, with occasional standing and walking throughout the workday.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds (e.g., files, office supplies, or equipment).
- Must be able to perform repetitive motions such as typing, using a mouse, and handling documents for the duration of the workday.
- Must be able to communicate effectively via phone, video, and in-person interactions.
- Must be able to work onsite as required based on business needs and schedule.
