Summary:
The Plant Manager will oversee daily plant operations, including production, manufacturing, staffing, safety, quality, scheduling, and continuous improvement. This role is responsible for maximizing productivity, reducing waste, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring customer expectations are met.

As a Plant Manager, you will:

• Plan, organize, direct, and manage daily plant operations to meet production, quality, safety, and customer delivery goals.
• Increase production capacity, asset utilization, and operational flexibility while controlling unnecessary costs.
• Partner with quality leadership to maintain current quality standards and support customer specification requirements.
• Oversee production output, product quality, on-time shipping, labor planning, staffing, and production schedules.
• Monitor plant performance, analyze data, identify waste or overtime issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Recruit, manage, develop, and lead plant staff while building a strong and accountable team environment.
• Communicate company policies, safety expectations, equipment capabilities, and customer needs to supervisors and team members.
• Support lean manufacturing, 5S, preventative maintenance, equipment installation, safety initiatives, and process improvement projects.
• Maintain control over labor costs, purchasing approvals, shop materials, tooling, fixtures, and facility needs.
• Ensure customer inventory is handled safely and responsibly to prevent loss or damage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering preferred, or progressive advancement into Plant Manager level leadership.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in heat treating, brazing operations, or manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of production operations, QMS principles, inventory control, accounting, and financial management.
• Experience with aerospace quality systems including AS9100 and NADCAP preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, customer specifications, and complex operational data.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and deadline-management skills.
• High level of integrity with the ability to handle confidential information.

Salary: $120K-$130K
