Position Title
Outside Sales - Visual Consultant

Employment Status & Work Hours
Non-Exempt, Full-Time, Hybrid/Remote
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Work Location
Only candidates living within a 1-hour drive of Everett, WA will be considered.

Position Summary
We’re hiring an Outside Sales Consultant to drive revenue growth through outside sales, new business development, and consultative selling. This role owns the full sales cycle—from lead generation and prospecting to quoting, closing, and supporting the project handoff process—while building strong relationships with local business owners and decision-makers.

Compensation & Benefits
● Starting Wage: $24.00 per hour + commission eligibility

What You'll Do
● Generate new business through prospecting, cold calling, territory development, and networking
● Conduct face-to-face sales calls with business owners and decision-makers to understand needs and recommend solutions
● Sell consultatively by recommending products and services aligned to customer goals and brand standards
● Grow existing accounts using share-of-wallet and relationship expansion strategies
● Build and maintain an active pipeline through referrals, email outreach, phone canvassing, direct mail, and in-person visits
● Follow up consistently on leads generated from field activity, marketing campaigns, and inbound inquiries
● Maintain accurate records in CRM, including sales calls, presentations, proposals, follow-ups, and closed sales
● Develop a strong understanding of pricing models, estimating, proposals, and contract terms
● Prepare and deliver estimates, presentations, and sales agreements
● Support project execution by completing required documentation and following center processes from start to finish
● Track progress and report weekly on activity, pipeline, closes, follow-up actions, and goal performance
● Support local marketing initiatives and conduct market research on competitors and customer feedback
● Resolve customer issues and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales and project lifecycle
● Build strong working relationships with internal support teams to ensure smooth handoffs and successful delivery
● Participate in a culture of “Everybody Sells” by identifying sales opportunities for the center
● Assist with phone coverage and front counter support as needed
● Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
● 2+ years of experience in outside sales, business development, B2B sales, or a related field
● Strong ability to communicate and build rapport with business owners, executives, and decision-makers
● Proven success with prospecting, lead generation, and territory development
● Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team
● Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple opportunities and deadlines
● Strong customer service mindset with the ability to resolve concerns professionally
● Analytical and problem-solving skills, including solution-based selling
● Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (or related tools)

Preferred Qualifications
● Associate’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
● Experience in signs, graphics, printing, marketing services, or visual communications
● Familiarity with project coordination or supporting sales through production handoff
● Experience managing a territory book of business and building long-term client relationships
● Strong comfort working in a quota-based or performance-driven environment
● Experience selling custom solutions
