This role is highly focused on cybersecurity compliance and the sustainment of specialized Lab environments at the OTC Operational Platform. The successful candidate will ensure all systems—including PSAC-EA, NPACS, and vLAMAS—maintain a valid Authority to Operate (ATO) through continuous monitoring, patching, and STIG application.

- STIG & Patching: Lead the application of DISA STIGs and execute patching, imaging, and scanning for CNIC Ground Based Radar Systems (GBRS) and Physical Security Information Management Systems.
- Vulnerability Management: Perform regular scanning (ACAS/Nessus) and analyze results to prioritize remediation across Development (DUCS), Test (TUCS), and Pre-Production (PUCS) environments.
- RMF & Documentation: Support ATO and Memorandum for the Record (MFR) packages for new or re-accreditations for NIWC Pacific review. Maintain accuracy in eMASS and update technical artifacts documenting system changes.
- PO&AM Management: Manage and Adhere to Plans of Action and Milestones (POAM) in accordance with NAVWAR SIPH and CNIC PSS standards.
- Reporting: Provide a monthly contractor cybersecurity workforce roster and contribute to weekly status reports regarding system availability and risks.
System Operations and Maintenance
- Environment Sustainment: Maintain and adhere to DUCS, TUCS, and PUCS up-time, usability, and performance benchmarks identified in the CNIC Public Safety Systems program.
- Baseline Management: Maintain the Baseline Configuration for Lab Development, Test, and Production environments, conducting quarterly audits to verify documentation accuracy.
- Network Coordination: Interface with PSNet/EAE Network Engineering and the NOC to troubleshoot outages and maintain network requirements for the OTC Operational Platform.
- Change Management: Adhere to the current CNIC Enterprise Change Request (CR) approval process before modifying access controls, network settings, or software versions.
- Help Desk Support: Respond to all assigned Help Desk Trouble Tickets in support of PSAC-EA, NPACS, or general CNIC Public Safety Systems.
- Configuration Artifacts: Maintain Lab Concept of Operations and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), topologies, and VISIO drawings as required for NIWC approval.
Requirements:
- Education: Associate's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. (Experience may be substituted for a degree.)
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of hands-on system administration experience supporting enterprise environments, with at least 2 years focused on DoD or Federal systems.
- Clearance: Must possess an Active DoD Secret security clearance.
- Certification (DoD 8570/8140):
- Must hold an IAT Level II certification or higher (CompTIA Security+ CE is required).
- Technical Skills:
- Demonstrated experience performing DISA STIG application and troubleshooting resultant system issues.
- Hands-on experience with automated vulnerability scanning tools such as ACAS or Tenable Nessus.
- Expertise in Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022).
- Familiarity with networking principles and secure communications (e.g., firewall rules, secure protocols).
- Milestone experience and/or familiarity is a plus.
Preferred Requirements:
- Direct experience supporting U.S. Navy or U.S. Coast Guard C4ISR, training, or mission systems.
- Proficiency with VMware vSphere and managing virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI).
