A CDL Class A Hazmat Dedicated Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional delivery of time-sensitive products while ensuring all freight arrives in proper condition. This role includes loading products onto delivery vehicles and executing deliveries along predetermined routes with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. Drivers are expected to strictly adhere to assigned routes and schedules, except in extenuating circumstances, while maintaining a strong commitment to customer service and safety standards.
This position requires flexibility for travel, including extended routes, overnight trips, and occasional multi-day assignments as business needs dictate. Drivers must be prepared to manage long-distance hauls, maintain compliance with all DOT regulations, and demonstrate professionalism both on the road and at customer locations.
Responsibilities:
- Comply with ICC and FMSCA regulations daily.
- Transport freight from distribution to delivery site without error.
- Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip.
- Load and unload freight to and from vehicle using safety perimeters that are put into place.
- Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle.
- Follow delivery schedule and rest at appropriate times.
- Responsible for counting and recording quantities and styles of product delivered and picked up to ensure accurate paperwork for customer transactions.
- Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions.
- Provide a high standard of customer service while delivering goods to customers.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Compensation Range:
Base salary of $80,000 annually
Per diem rates and eligibility will be discussed during the interview process
Schedule Overview:
- Start: Saturday
- Pick up company truck in St. Louis (STL) between 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
- Depart on route immediately after pickup
- Route:
- Saturday through Wednesday afternoon (overnight travel required)
- Return:
- Wednesday afternoon (timing may vary based on route completion)
- Time Off:
- Thursday & Friday

- Route details, expectations, and day-to-day logistics will be reviewed during the manager interview
- Schedule and hours may flex based on business needs, offering variety in your week

Travel & Work Conditions:
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
- Possible exposure to extreme hot or cold weather elements when outside or driving.
- Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods.
- Travel up to 100% of the time.
Education & Experience:
- Must have a High school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid DOT medical card.
- Must have both an Airbrake and Hazmat endorsement.
- Has a CDL Class A with no more than 2 moving violations or at-fault accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug test to meet FMSCA requirements.
- 1 year of delivery experience is preferred, but not required.
- May be required to have an airbrake endorsement depending on geographical locations to meet customer's expectations.
Work Authorization:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without any type of work authorization or work sponsorship now or in the future.
