About This Position
Summary/Objective
This role is responsible for accurately entering production data into databases and software programs. It involves verifying and adjusting data as necessary and ensuring its confirmation within these systems. A solid understanding of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in processing and packaging operations is essential for this position. The role encompasses financial responsibilities, such as closing work orders and tracking monthly inventory
The ideal candidate is expected to proactively challenge the status quo by proposing ideas to streamline and automate data collection processes. They should be adept at identifying discrepancies or deviations from standard data, and capable of developing or enhancing the structure and presentation of current reports.
Essential Functions

- Analyze daily production data and points out issues/gaps and make suggestions to leadership team
- Closing work orders and ensuring all work orders are completed and verified
- Regularly collect samples from cheese batches to measure temperature, pH levels, and moisture content
- Record daily temperature readings of curing rooms to ensure compliance with product specifications
- Conduct a thorough inventory check of all cheese-making ingredients on a monthly basis
- Perform a post-production count of cheese units to ensure production targets are met
- Validate all room temperatures are set to the required specifications
- Track and document the yield if cheese produced in relation to the man hours invested
- Measure and document the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to assess the efficiency of production equipment
- Document any instances where cheese is downgraded due to quality issues or specification deviations
- Enter all data related to plant production into SAP
- Checks and confirms the accuracy of production reports and product counts with production
- Assure inventories are correct in SAP
- Organized and store production recordings and files in designated area
- Assists in audits/inspections
- Participates in Continuous Improvement Process
- Comply with all Safety policies and procedures, actively participating in monthly safety observations
- Maintains regular, predictable attendance

This is a full-time onsite position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend English
- Two to four years of administrative or data entry experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Preferred Education and Experience
- Manufacturing environment experience
- SAP experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in English/bilingual)
