Position Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative, operational, and logistical support across all areas of Human Resources, ensuring seamless execution of HR processes and excellent employee experience. This role supports recruitment, onboarding, HRIS administration, and general HR operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail‑oriented, customer‑service driven, and committed to maintaining a positive and professional work environment.
The HR Coordinator works primarily from the corporate office and plays an integral role in managing new hire processes and supporting broader HR initiatives at OnPoint Medical Group.
Essential Functions
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- In conjunction with the HR Generalist post job openings, update recruiting websites, and manage applicant tracking systems.
- Communicate with candidates regarding new‑hire paperwork and pre‑hire requirements.
- Complete pre‑employment screenings.
- Prepare offer letters, new‑hire packets, and onboarding schedules.
- Track and report on applicant status and new hire progress to managers.
- Facilitate new‑hire orientation in conjunction with the HR Generalist.
- Ensure accurate completion of all new‑hire documentation and onboarding compliance requirements.
HR Operations & Administration
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Assist with employee data changes including promotions, transfers, terminations, and status changes.
- Answer the HR phone line for employee inquiries.
- Assist with tracking and maintain employee license verifications and documentation requirements.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- Some college education or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of HR or administrative experience.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, confidentiality, and general employment practices.
- Customer service experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong computer skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow‑up skills.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience working within healthcare or a medical group setting.

Physical Demands

Position Type & Expected Hours of Work
- Full‑time hourly position
- Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

- Occasional local travel to various clinics may be required.

Salary range: $24.00–$30.00 per hour
