The selected candidate will be a member of the GDLS JBLM/Sumner team supporting the UKR Ops chat.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and interface with customer representatives at command level, as well as senior program manager office representatives.
  • Monitor and maintain configuration management for Stryker variant of vehicles in Poland.
  • Monitor "SIGNAL APP" 24/7 chat. Must be able to articulate troubleshooting techniques in written (text) form promptly, professionally, politely, and accurately.
  • Use skills, abilities, and workload demands to set mission priorities and maintain Operational Readiness Float (ORF) in the Poland FRA and down range.
  • Conduct hands on training or sustainment training program for General Dynamics Land Systems mechanics, and M&E contractors.
  • Oversee and assist with preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) on all Stryker variants to include sub-components and LRUs pertaining to the Stryker Platform.
  • Oversee and troubleshoot and correct malfunctions in automotive systems (full up power-pack FUPP (engine, transmission, cooling), fuel, exhaust, driveline and suspension ) using built in test equipment (BITE), test equipment and/or manual troubleshooting procedures (MTPs), common and special tools and applicable technical documentation.
  • Complete maintenance and administrative forms and other paperwork (reports) related to performance of duties.
  • Provide property accountability for all assigned property. Assistance for property accountability where needed.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with ISO processes.
  • Perform duties as site Field Representative; Environmental, Hazmat, Safety, Fire prevention and administrative functions.


Position Requirements:
  • Must be certified graduate of the Stryker FSR Academy
  • Must have High School Diploma and/or GED
  • Read and interpret troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures and flow diagrams for systems, subsystems and components.
  • Travel to remote CONUS/OCONUS locations on short notice to support contingency operations.
  • Work in improved and unimproved maintenance facilities, as well as other field environment and work duty locations as required.
  • Occasional work in confined space within vehicle interior.
  • Potential for exposure to temperature extremes in performance of duties.
  • Physical requirements: Must pass and maintain company deployment requirements.
  • Must meet and maintain ASR guidelines for driver's station entry as described in Standard Practice 2-644.
  • Dexterity in fingers of both hand
  • Carry 70lbs (tool box or parts) up to 50'.
  • Multicultural work experience preferred.
  • Administrative and office skills required (Microsoft Office, EXCEL and Power Point).
    (May be required to demonstrate abilities).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain successful NACI background for CAC (Common Access Card).
  • Must be a U.S. person.
  • Must be able to gain and maintain access to all military installations in which the work is performed.


Position Salary Range: New hires generally start between $87,500 to $92,000 per year. Applicant's placement within the range is based on qualifications and professional experience. The full salary range for the position is between $68,100 and $104,200 per year.

Position Incentive: Hired applicant will be able to receive an annual bonus.
