Seeking Trainers for Summit & Medina Counties

Do you want to make a difference in the lives of high school students with cognitive, physical and/or emotional needs who are exploring careers and work?

Inspire and guide individuals with disabilities by demonstrating excellent work and social behaviors.Help high school students explore careers and learn job skillsRepresent UDS professionally as a liaison to community employers.

Employment Trainers provide career exploration opportunities and work experience at employment locations in the community, in a variety of work settings.

Education and Other Requirements:

High school diplomaExperience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred Must have access to a home computer with Microsoft Excel and Word installedMust be able to receive report forms via email and complete the reports using their home computer

Must successfully complete a background check.Must pass a physical examination, and drug and alcohol screenings.
