Employment: Full-time, salariedTravel: Approximately 60–70% nationwide travel, with weekends at homePut your construction experience to work in a growing national company.Do you understand construction, know your way around a jobsite, and take pride in getting measurements right?Are you interested in a position that combines nationwide travel, technical problem-solving, and the opportunity to build a long-term career in field operations?Infinium Wall Systems is expanding its Field Operations team and looking for a Traveling Construction Field Specialist to join our headquarters in Strongsville, Ohio.In this role, you'll visit commercial construction projects across the country, take accurate field measurements, evaluate site conditions, and serve as an important connection between our customers, installers, and in-house teams.You'll also receive extensive training in our architectural glass wall systems, doors, hardware, and installation methods.You don't need to know our products to get started. We're looking for someone with strong construction fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate confidently on a jobsite. We'll teach you the rest.What you'll doField measurements & site visits — your primary responsibility

Travel to commercial construction sites throughout the United States to take and verify field measurements before our products are manufactured.Review construction drawings, verify dimensions, and document existing site conditions.Identify potential measurement, site-readiness, and installation concerns before they become costly problems.Communicate professionally with general contractors, superintendents, installers, and other trades while representing Infinium on site.Provide accurate measurements, photographs, documentation, and field reports to our in-house Project Management and Engineering teams.

Installation & technical support

Develop a working knowledge of Infinium's architectural glass wall systems, doors, hardware, and installation methods.Assist experienced field team members with installation and service work as your technical knowledge develops.Help troubleshoot field conditions, product issues, and installation concerns.Work with our Project Management, Engineering, and Production teams to communicate problems and support effective solutions.

This is primarily a field measurement and technical coordination position, not a full-time installation labor role. However, hands-on work and a willingness to learn our installation methods are important parts of the job.Headquarters supportWhen you're not traveling, you'll work from our Strongsville headquarters, where you may:

Assist our Project Management team with project-related tasks.Support Engineering with mockups, product testing, and technical work.Participate in hands-on product and installation training.Help prepare for upcoming field visits and installations.

What we're looking forRequired qualifications

Experience in construction, commercial interiors, installation, or a related hands-on field.A strong understanding of jobsite conditions and the importance of accurate measurements.Comfortable reading or learning to interpret construction drawings and field dimensions.Ability to communicate professionally with general contractors, superintendents, and installation teams.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and willingness to learn.Valid driver's license.Willingness to travel nationwide and report to our Strongsville headquarters when not traveling.Ability to work independently as training progresses.

We value people who understand construction, care about accuracy, and want to grow their technical skills.Training & career developmentYou'll begin with a structured 90-day training period combining hands-on learning at our Strongsville headquarters with field experience alongside our team.You'll learn Infinium's products, measurement procedures, installation methods, door systems, hardware, and field documentation processes.As your skills develop, you'll take on more independent field visits, technical responsibilities, and installation support.We're expanding our Field Operations team to provide more support to our customers and projects nationwide. This position offers opportunities to develop your career as our team and business continue to grow.Travel & work scheduleThis position requires approximately 60–70% nationwide travel, with weekends at home.When not traveling, you'll work from our Strongsville headquarters.
