Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Forecasting:
Develop and maintain robust financial models to support long-term strategic planning and annual budgeting.
Conduct rolling forecasts to reflect changing business conditions and new revenue streams.
Collaborate with business units to gather inputs and validate assumptions for forecasting and budgeting.
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
Analyze financial performance, including revenue, profitability, and cost metrics, with a focus on new business initiatives and diversified product lines.
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key variances and trends.
Develop KPIs and performance metrics to monitor the financial health of the organization.
Assist with Monthly Close alongside accounting and understand how everything rolls into the financial statement.
Business Partnering:
Partner with operational and product teams to assess financial impacts of new opportunities and product diversification.
Provide financial insights to support decision-making, including cost-benefit analysis and scenario planning.
Assist leadership in evaluating the financial viability of new contracts and service agreements.
Ability to understand the Operations side of business and communicate with various departments monthly.
Data Analysis & Optimization:
Utilize data analytics to assess revenue performance and identify areas for margin improvement.
Automate reporting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Leverage business intelligence tools to enhance reporting capabilities and data visualization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
1-3 years of experience in FP&A, preferably within healthcare, insurance, or TPA environments.
Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Hyperion).
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
