About the MFT Support Analyst position:

The MFT Support Analyst is responsible for the ongoing support, monitoring, and maintenance of business-to-business (B2B) integration processes and Managed File Transfer (MFT) operations. This role requires strong technical expertise and a disciplined approach to ensuring system performance, reliability, and availability, while maintaining enterprise standards for monitoring, privacy, security, compliance, and quality of service.

This position is eligible for remote work, but quarterly travel will be required to Avalon’s corporate office located in Tampa, Florida.

MFT Support Analyst – Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to established corporate security and compliance standards
  • Collaborate with developers and team members to design and implement reliable interfaces
  • Partner with internal business teams and external trading partners to enable successful exchange of integration files
  • Document and follow established enterprise and industry best practices
  • Support the ongoing integration of B2B technologies with multiple business systems and platforms
  • Troubleshoot and resolve communication and data transfer failures
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call support responsibilities rotation
  • Document MFT processes for trading partners, business partners, and internal teams
  • Participate in server and software health maintenance
  • Contribute to the design and development of tracking, monitoring, and management tools for MFT traffic
  • MFT Support Analyst – Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in software engineering, computer science, or other related discipline
  • 3 years of progressively increasing experience in healthcare
  • 2+ years Healthcare IT experience
  • Technical and non-technical troubleshooting skills with ability to diagnose and resolve problems efficiently and effectively
  • Clear understanding with Microsoft SQL Server, PowerShell, FTP/SFTP, HTTPS, REST API integrations and TCP/IP communications
  • Reliable, highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities with general supervision, demonstrating initiative, sound judgment, and creativity
  • MFT Support Analyst – Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in file transfer software implementations
  • Experience with MOVEit Automation and MOVEit Transfer applications
  • Previous experience in an early-stage growth company helpful
