We are a Christian faith-based, non-profit organization with a rich and evolving culture seeking an Admissions Coordinator to provide instruction and support with being a bridge between the Women’s Academy and the local community.

Reports to: Lead Clinical Case Manager

Hours: 40 hours per week (typically 8 AM- 4 PM), including occasional evenings and weekends

Location: Women’s Academy at Hapeville First United Methodist Church and Dress for Success Atlanta

Position Summary:

The Admissions Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between the Women’s Academy and the community. This role focuses on building relationships with community partners, delivering educational and professional development workshops, and acting as the initial point of contact for prospective participants. The Admissions Coordinator also guides applicants through the admissions process, including reviewing applications, conducting phone screenings, facilitating intake assessments, and providing resources and referrals when needed, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for all applicants.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Program Service Delivery:
  • Review Women’s Academy applications and conduct initial phone screenings.

  • Conduct intake assessments.

  • Determine and communicate admissions decisions to participants, coordinating with Women’s Academy Staff as needed.

  • Provide denied applicants with resources and referrals to better suit their needs.

  • Schedule participants with a Clinical Case Manager for ongoing support once admitted.

  • Support program orientation process.

  • Deliver workshops in the community to expand the impact of the Women’s Academy.

  • Utilize strength-based approaches with prospective and current participants.

Community and Partner Relations:
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and organizations in support of program goals.

  • Identify and nurture strategic referral sources for the Women’s Academy.

  • Promote the Women’s Academy in the community as a local resource.

Curriculum Development and Facilitation:
  • Develop and consistently update workshop curriculum on educational, professional development, and wellness topics.

  • Provide back-up coverage for the Clinical Case Management team (e.g., groups, drug screen support, crisis management, etc.) as needed.

Administrative and Operational Support:
  • Assist with program administration, data collection and electronic health records (EHR).

  • Reporting, supplies inventory, and schedule coverage as needed.

  • Transportation as a driver for the 15-passenger van program vehicle.

  • Develop intentional connections with partners, community members, program participants, and staff members

Professional Qualifications:

  • Administrative, organizational, and computer skills including use of email and Microsoft Office suite of products

  • Documentation of references (at least two professional and one personal) that attest to the person’s capability of performing the duties of the position and to the person’s suitability of working with or around children and vulnerable populations

  • Master’s Degree or higher level of post-graduate education in a related field, such as social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology

  • Active Georgia license in good standing, such as LMSW, LCSW, LPC, or LMFT

  • Preferred credentials/ certifications in behavioral health, trauma-informed care, and/or addictions

  • Preferred expertise or experience with Motivational Interviewing (MI), Stages of Change, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and/or other trauma-informed evidence-based treatment modalities

  • Experience working with adult victims of complex trauma, such as survivors of sex trafficking

  • Experience and knowledge on educational, professional development, and wellness topics

  • Experience with community outreach

  • Curriculum development experience

  • Workshop facilitation experience

Position Requirements:

  • Moderate local travel related to outreach, participant, and program needs, including ongoing clearance for driving organization vehicles and transporting participants, as well as occasional travel for training

  • Ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds and work for long periods at a computer

  • Satisfactory criminal history background check

  • Valid Driver's License

  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record
