About This Position

Job Description:

Responsible for a variety of secretarial and clerical support duties for the H.R. Department, Applying knowledge of department operations and office procedures; assisting in various departmental projects.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Processing status change forms for various changes to employee personnel records, including, new hires, transfers, employment status, promotions, rate changes, change in personal data, payroll deduction maintenance, etc. Determine and / or calculate and enter related personnel data affected by the status change. Update personnel information in the following programs: ANSOS, Adjusted Service Date Update, Process Help Desk Tickets, Healthstreams, Completion of multiple spreadsheets etc.
  • Prepare and Send out of Monthly Employee Probationary Evaluations to all Departments within ACH. Processing and upload of all yearly Employee Performance Evaluations for all employees within ACH.
  • Track expiration of professional license including mailing/e-mailing “reminders” to employees & department heads.
  • Maintain personnel files.
  • Prepare specialized reports, as assigned; gather and compile information extrapolating from a variety of sources following specific instructions.
  • Process a variety of material including, but not limited to, correspondence, internal communications, form letters, etc.
  • Work with EHN regarding weekly disability FMLA, PFL, PSL, EBT and enter into payroll system.
  • Assist with weekly payroll problems pertaining to employee paychecks, ANSOS Time and Attendance.

  • Process weekly Payroll including: Covid Pay, PBT Buyouts, PBT Donations, Employee Health Entries, Dietary and EVS Out of Title and Training Pay, Radiology Shift Differentials etc.

  • Manage complete Transamerica/403B deductions, changes, additions weekly. Process Transamerica Loans weekly.

  • Work Closely with Finance for Transamerica year end maintenance. Tracking employees that have multiple 403B accounts to ensure deductions do not exceed limits. Manually change all maximum with holding amounts for all employees the first pay period of the year.

  • Complete all wage garnishments including; Child Support, Taxy Levy’s, Court Orders etc. Work Closely with different Courts to ensure timely payment of any outstanding garnishments. Monitor and Track

Qualifications:

High school plus business courses. Two (2) years experience in an office setting required, preferably in an acute care setting. Must possess demonstrated excellent customer service skills.

Salary: $24.00 - $27.00
