Position Information
Reporting directly to the Director of the Health Professions/Pre-Professional Advising Center within the Division of Undergraduate Education and working in close collaboration with the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (CHASS) colleagues within the advising and faculty ranks, the Pre-Law Advisor advises undergraduate students and alumni interested in pursuing careers in the legal professions—from beginning exploration of attending law school through the law school admission process.This joint position is supported by the Division of Undergraduate Education and the College of Humanities, Arts, & Social Sciences. The salary range for this position is $56,000.00 - $96,400.00 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $56,000.00 - $66,100.00 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.•Position Type: Contract•Duration:60 months (5 Year) •Contract Length: This is a temporary contract position with an expected duration of 60 months (5 Year), with the possibility of extension based on business needs, budget and performance.
