Position Summary
The Employee Relations & Compliance Business Partner supports the execution of employee relations and compliance programs by assisting with investigations, maintaining documentation standards, and ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role partners with HR Business Partners, Legal, and HR Centers of Excellence to support employee relations matters and compliance initiatives. The Business Partner also provides support to onboarding operations during peak periods to ensure continuity of compliant onboarding and offboarding processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support employee relations investigations by gathering information, preparing documentation, and maintaining case records.
- Assist in drafting investigation summaries, employee communications, and documentation to support consistent and defensible outcomes.
- Maintain and update employee relations documentation standards, templates, and tracking tools.
- Support the development, maintenance, and updates of employee-facing compliance materials, including policies and handbook content.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and HR teams to support employee relations processes and ensure consistent application of policies.
- Conduct audits of employee relations and compliance documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support compliance-related initiatives, reporting, and process improvements.
- Provide support during onboarding and offboarding activities as needed, ensuring documentation and processes meet compliance requirements.
- Track and analyze employee relations trends to identify risks and support proactive solutions.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree or a Combination of education, training, and experience.
- 3-5 years or experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Foundational knowledge of employee relations practices and employment laws.
- Strong written communication skills, particularly in documentation and policy support.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and support high-volume or time-sensitive work.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country on employment without sponsorship for employment status (e.g., H1B status).
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP).
- Experience supporting onboarding or HR operations processes.
- Experience working in multi-state environments.
- Experience supporting employee relations investigations or compliance programs.
