This position is located at the Embassy Suites in Arcadia, CA. A city nestled by the San Gabriel Mountains, known for it’s blend of suburban charm and natural beauty. Home to the renowned Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden and the historic Santa Anita racetrack. Arcadia offers a unique blend of outdoor recreation and rich cultural heritage.

As our Dishwasher, you keep the plates spotless, the pots scrubbed, the floors clean, and the kitchen running at its best. It’s hard work, it moves fast, and the whole team counts on you to keep up. WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Sweep and mop kitchen floors throughout the shift to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks to uphold sanitation standards.
• Segregate, remove, and properly dispose of trash and garbage in designated containers.
• Steam clean or hose out garbage cans to maintain hygiene.
• Sort bottles and process disposable items using the bottle crushing machine.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand.
• Scrape food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or load them into racks for the dishwashing machine.
• Polish silverware using burnishing-machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth.

SKILLS & ABILITIES YOU BRING

• Self-starting personality with a steady, even-keeled disposition; able to work productively with minimal direction.
• Professional appearance and manner maintained at all times in the kitchen environment.
• Physical ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the shift including lifting, bending, stooping, walking, pushing, and pulling heavy equipment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work at a consistent production pace throughout the shift.
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual; committed to showing up and contributing every shift.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude; willing to support the kitchen team across tasks as needed.

SCHEDULE & HOURS

This position is Part-Time, with schedules that may vary based on business need. Flexibility to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays, may be required. Specific shift details will be discussed during the interview process.
