Job Description

Client Success Coach

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Client Success Coach based in United States.

As a Client Success Coach, you will help gym owners turn marketing and sales opportunities into measurable business growth.
You will manage a portfolio of clients and serve as their trusted partner from onboarding through long-term retention.
Through weekly coaching, KPI analysis, and structured accountability, you will help clients overcome bottlenecks and improve execution.
The role combines relationship management, business coaching, data-driven problem solving, and retention strategy.
You will work closely with marketing, sales, and leadership teams in a highly collaborative, performance-focused environment.
This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive professional who enjoys challenging clients to reach higher levels of performance.
Your work will directly influence client results, satisfaction, retention, and overall business success.

Accountabilities
  • Client portfolio management: Manage a portfolio of gym owner clients and act as their primary point of contact through Slack, Zoom, phone, and email, building trusted relationships and ensuring a consistently strong client experience.
  • Business coaching: Lead weekly coaching sessions that help clients identify bottlenecks, solve business challenges, prioritize actions, and improve their execution.
  • Performance analysis: Review KPIs and client performance data to diagnose challenges, uncover opportunities, and provide recommendations grounded in evidence rather than assumptions.
  • Accountability and execution: Establish clear expectations, follow up on commitments, and challenge clients constructively when necessary to keep them focused on the actions required to achieve their goals.
  • Growth enablement: Help gym owners improve lead follow-up, appointment setting, show rates, sales performance, member acquisition, and broader business growth.
  • Retention and risk management: Monitor client engagement and performance to identify potential churn risks early, proactively address concerns, and strengthen long-term client retention.
  • Client journey ownership: Guide clients from onboarding through ongoing engagement and retention, helping ensure they receive value and maximize their return on investment.
  • Advocacy and referrals: Build strong client relationships that generate referrals, reviews, testimonials, and compelling success stories.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, and leadership teams to improve client outcomes, communication, service delivery, and the overall client experience.
  • Continuous improvement: Identify root causes rather than repeatedly addressing symptoms, recognize trends across the client portfolio, and recommend improvements to coaching, systems, onboarding, and service delivery.
  • Documentation and organization: Maintain accurate client records, notes, action items, and follow-ups to ensure visibility and consistent execution.
Requirements
  • Client-facing experience: At least 2 years of experience in client success, account management, coaching, consulting, or a comparable client-facing role.
  • Portfolio management: Demonstrated experience managing multiple clients simultaneously while maintaining strong relationships, organization, and follow-through.
  • Leadership and accountability: Comfortable leading difficult conversations, setting expectations, addressing performance gaps, and holding clients accountable in a constructive manner.
  • Communication and relationship building: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine interest in helping others succeed and building long-term professional relationships.
  • Proactive mindset: Able to identify potential problems early, take ownership, and act independently to resolve issues before they escalate.
  • Data-driven approach: Comfortable working with KPIs and performance data to diagnose problems, evaluate progress, and guide recommendations and decisions.
  • Organization: Strong ability to manage multiple clients, priorities, projects, and deadlines without losing attention to detail.
  • Remote autonomy: Self-directed and comfortable working remotely with limited oversight while consistently delivering on commitments.
  • Collaboration: A strong team player who communicates openly, seeks support when needed, and contributes positively to shared goals.
  • Growth mindset: Receptive to feedback, committed to continuous learning, and motivated to improve skills and performance over time.
  • High standards: Demonstrates ownership, reliability, excellence, and a results-oriented approach to work.
  • Preferred experience: Background in a marketing agency, coaching organization, or service-based business is preferred.
  • Additional experience: Sales experience and/or fitness industry experience is considered a plus.
Benefits
  • Remote-first position: Work remotely from anywhere in the world.
  • Competitive compensation: Base compensation starting at $72,000+ per year, with referral commissions and performance-based earning opportunities.
  • Unlimited PTO: Flexible paid time off designed to support sustainable performance and work-life balance.
  • Professional development: Access to high-quality sales, marketing, and business coaching training.
  • Career growth: Clear opportunities for career progression and increased responsibility.
  • Performance-focused environment: Join a results-oriented team where coaching, accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement are highly valued.
