The Pre-Sales Consultant will play a key role in supporting commercial growth by connecting customer needs with effective technology solutions. This position requires a strategic, client-focused mindset combined with strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Partner with sales teams to manage product evaluations, demonstrations, and discovery sessions that support revenue growth and successful customer outcomes.
- Conduct in-depth discovery conversations with financial services professionals to understand research workflows, business challenges, and opportunities for optimization.
- Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations, workshops, and presentations that showcase relevant use cases and business value.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across financial institutions, acting as a knowledgeable advisor throughout the sales cycle.
- Develop and refine financial services use cases by identifying emerging customer needs and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with Product, Content, Marketing, Customer Success, and other internal teams to share customer feedback and influence product improvements.
- Support go-to-market strategies by providing market insights, competitive intelligence, and expertise on industry workflows.
- Manage multiple client engagements independently while maintaining a high standard of execution, responsiveness, and customer experience.
The ideal candidate brings experience in financial services, client-facing roles, and technology-driven environments, with the ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences.
- 2+ years of experience working in financial services or directly supporting financial services clients within fintech, SaaS, consulting, research, sales, product, or customer success environments.
- Familiarity with workflows in areas such as asset management, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or hedge funds.
- Strong interest in generative AI and its potential to transform financial services research, analysis, and decision-making processes.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Experience conducting product demonstrations, workshops, evaluations, or consultative client engagements.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive, ownership-driven approach to addressing customer challenges.
- Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and establish credibility as a trusted industry and product expert.
- Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment while collaborating effectively across teams.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize competing demands under pressure.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $80,000 to $95,000 USD.
