This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Analista - SOC N1 - Período Noturno based in Brazil.
This is a remote cybersecurity opportunity for a professional joining a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment focused on continuous monitoring and incident detection.
You will monitor security events across SIEM, EDR, firewall, and other security technologies, helping identify and triage potential threats.
The role offers exposure to real-world, complex, and high-criticality security environments.
You will contribute to the accurate classification, documentation, and escalation of alerts and incidents.
Your work will help maintain strong operational visibility and support fast, consistent responses to security events.
The position is well suited to an organized and proactive SOC professional who communicates clearly and enjoys working in a structured operational environment.
This is a night-shift role with scheduled weekend coverage and an immediate-start opportunity under a contractor arrangement.
- Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM, EDR, firewall, and other cybersecurity solutions.
- Perform the initial triage and analysis of security alerts and potential incidents, identifying relevant events for escalation.
- Register, classify, and document security occurrences accurately in ticketing and incident-management systems.
- Prepare activity reports and maintain clear records of monitoring and incident-response activities.
- Track SOC operational indicators and metrics, helping maintain visibility into performance and alert-handling activities.
- Follow established operational procedures and contribute to the continuous improvement of monitoring and incident-response processes.
- Collaborate with the broader security operation to ensure alerts and incidents are handled consistently and efficiently.
- Work according to the operational schedule, including planned weekend shifts from 18:00 to 00:00 when assigned.
- Previous professional experience working in a SOC N1 position.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies: QRadar, Wazuh, Shuffle, Resilient, or Google SecOps.
- Understanding of security monitoring, alert triage, incident classification, and SOC operational workflows.
- Ability to accurately document incidents, maintain tickets, and produce clear operational reports.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when handling security events and operational information.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other members of a security operations team.
- Proactive mindset, with the initiative to investigate alerts and contribute to process improvements.
- Availability to work according to the operational shift schedule and cover scheduled weekend shifts from 18:00 to 00:00.
- Availability for immediate start is preferred.
