Job Description

TEMP Digital Project Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a TEMP Digital Project Manager based in United States.

This is a hands-on digital project management role supporting a growing portfolio of military-focused marketing initiatives.
You will take projects from planning through execution, coordinating stakeholders, timelines, creative development, content production, approvals, and final delivery.
The role combines project management with marketing execution, photography, videography, and creative production.
You will collaborate with internal teams, military partners, youth-focused programs, agencies, and external creative vendors.
Success requires strong organization, independent decision-making, and the ability to keep multiple complex deliverables moving with limited oversight.
You will also help expand a library of high-quality visual and marketing assets while creating authentic stories for military-connected audiences.
This fully remote opportunity offers meaningful ownership, creative involvement, and the chance to contribute to mission-driven marketing work.

Accountabilities:
  • Independently manage assigned digital and military marketing projects from kickoff through final delivery, including scope, timelines, stakeholders, approvals, and assets.
  • Develop project plans, creative briefs, status updates, trackers, content calendars, and other tools to keep initiatives organized and on schedule.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, military partners, Youth Centers, agencies, vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver marketing commitments.
  • Identify project risks, dependencies, and decisions early, escalating strategic or partner issues when appropriate.
  • Execute marketing initiatives across digital, social, web, print, and partner channels, adapting materials for different audiences and requirements.
  • Develop and adapt marketing collateral, social content, digital assets, presentations, partner resources, and audience-focused written content.
  • Capture and edit professional photography and video at installations, events, programs, and other activations.
  • Produce short-form and social-first video content, including interviews, event recaps, and youth and family stories.
  • Manage photo and video production from planning through post-production, including shot lists, scheduling, on-site capture, asset selection, and editing.
  • Build, organize, tag, and maintain a growing library of approved photography, video, and creative assets, including usage information and documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to repurpose existing content and provide project coordination and administrative support for broader marketing priorities.
  • Capture project learnings and recommend improvements to future campaigns, workflows, and execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, project management, content creation, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage marketing projects, stakeholders, timelines, approvals, and deliverables from planning through completion.
  • Experience developing marketing content and materials across digital and social channels.
  • Professional experience capturing and editing photography and video, including short-form and social-first content.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, or comparable photo and video editing platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with limited day-to-day oversight.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build productive relationships across internal and external teams.
  • A creative eye for visual storytelling and the ability to identify authentic stories and turn them into compelling content.
  • Sound judgment, initiative, adaptability, and the ability to determine when to act independently versus when to escalate an issue.
  • Ability to travel for military installation shoots, events, and other content-capture opportunities.
  • Portfolio or work samples demonstrating photography and video production and editing capabilities.
  • Experience with military organizations, military-connected communities, government partners, nonprofits, youth-serving organizations, or other complex stakeholder environments is preferred.
  • Experience managing agencies, vendors, creative partners, Canva, digital asset management systems, or creative workflow tools is a plus.

Benefits:

  • $50 per hour.
  • 100% remote work.
  • Approximately 15–20% travel.
  • Opportunity to combine project management, marketing execution, photography, videography, and creative production.
  • Meaningful work supporting military-connected youth, families, and communities.
  • Opportunity to build a portfolio of digital, social, photography, video, and marketing projects.
  • Collaborative environment involving internal teams, external partners, agencies, and creative professionals.
