Preventative Maintenance Technician in Cincinnati, Ohio at Uptown Rental Properties LLC

Do you like working independently, solving problems, and keeping buildings running the way they should? Uptown Rental Properties is looking for a Preventative Maintenance Technician to help keep our communities in great shape and provide a great experience for our residents.

In this role, you’ll spend most of your day completing preventative maintenance work and helping identify issues before they become bigger problems.

You will:

• Complete preventative maintenance work orders throughout our properties

• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, inspections, and general maintenance

• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine the best solution

• Keep residents and property teams updated on the status of work

• Order or pick up materials needed to complete jobs

• Document and update work orders in our maintenance system

• Work with other technicians and outside vendors when additional help is needed

• Properly care for company vehicles, tools, equipment, and other resources

• Participate in a scheduled after-hours on-call rotation for emergency maintenance

• Is dependable and takes ownership of their work

• Can manage their day and priorities with limited supervision

• Has strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Communicates well with residents, coworkers, and managers

• Takes pride in completing quality work

• Can balance multiple work orders and changing priorities

• Works well as part of a maintenance team

• Understands that great maintenance is also about providing great customer service
