• $18.00-$20.00+ per hour, paid weekly

The Role

Reporting to the Assembly - Dock Seals & Shelters Lead, the Assembler - Dock Seals & Shelters (DS&S) is responsible for building custom dock seals and shelters used in commercial and industrial loading dock applications. This role helps ensure customers receive durable, weather-resistant products that improve safety, efficiency, and performance at the loading dock.

In this hands-on manufacturing role, you will work with heavy-duty fabrics, foam, wood, insulation, and metal components to assemble custom products based on drawings, work orders, and specifications. The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and thrives in a team-focused production environment.

What You'll Do

• Assemble dock seals and shelters according to drawings, work orders, and specifications.
• Cut, measure, and attach fabric covers to wood or metal frames.
• Install foam padding, fasteners, Velcro, and weatherstripping materials as required.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic staplers, and sewing machines as needed.
• Inspect finished products for quality, durability, and adherence to company standards.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used and time spent on each assembly.
• Follow safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals.

Successful candidates are comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and are committed to safety, teamwork, and craftsmanship.

• Skill using measuring devices, hand tools, and power tools.
• Comfort working with industrial fabrics, foam, wood, and metal components.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Woodworking, manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, sewing, or related production experience is helpful.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand assembly instructions, blueprints, or work orders.
• Ability to measure accurately and safely operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
• Able to commute to or relocate to Pewaukee, WI 53072 before start date
