Metz Culinary Management is seeking dependable, friendly, and customer-focused team members to join our airport café team. This part-time position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and providing excellent service to travelers.

Team members assist with food and beverage preparation, cashiering, stocking, cleaning, and other daily café operations.

• Prepare and serve food and beverages according to company standards.

• Brew coffee and maintain beverage machines and coffee stations.

• Set up and maintain hot and cold food service areas.

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service to airport travelers.

• Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately process cash and card transactions.

• Prepare, portion, assemble, and label food items.

• Restock condiments, paper products, merchandise, and other supplies.

• Properly store, date, label, and rotate food and inventory.

• Maintain clean, organized, and attractive service and merchandising areas.

• Clean and sanitize counters, tables, equipment, and work areas; sweep and mop floors as needed.

• Receive, unload, and put away deliveries.

• Assist coworkers and perform other operational duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Previous food service, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience preferred.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Availability for assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

• Reliable transportation to and from the airport.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Successful completion of the required background check and airport security badge process.

This is a part-time position with scheduled shifts. Management can prepare schedules up to one month in advance, giving team members the opportunity to plan ahead and balance work with family, school, or other commitments.

Because we serve airport travelers, flight delays may require the café to remain open beyond its originally scheduled closing time. Team members are expected to remain on duty until delayed-flight service is complete or a replacement team member arrives to relieve them.

If an employee is unable to stay for an extended delay, management will make reasonable efforts to arrange coverage when possible; however, replacement coverage cannot be guaranteed. Flexibility and reliability are essential in this airport environment.

Employment is contingent upon successfully completing the required background check and airport security badge process. Eligible processing costs will be covered by the company in accordance with company policy.

• Experience desired but we are willing to train candidates with a passion for food and understands the basics

• Ability to apply elementary mathematical statistics that would apply to inventory and portioning
