Control Technician PRN in San Antonio, Texas at University Health System- San Antonio

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
To provide highly technical skills in the construction, installation, operation and maintenance of electric, electronic, direct digital and pneumatic controls associated with HVAC, Building Automation Systems and other related Systems. Monitors, synchronizes, repairs and maintains the controlling mechanism required for efficient and proper operation of Facilities Management equipment throughout the facilities of University Health. Complies with the Health System and departmental policies and procedures.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. Associates degree in Electronics is preferred. Three years’ experience in Pneumatic, Electronic and Electro-Mechanical Controls Maintenance and Repair is preferred. Five years’ experience in repairing Honeywell and Johnson and/or other HVAC controls in large facilities is preferred.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
Must possess a valid Texas State driver’s license “Class C” and must maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record and insurable by the Health System.
