Foxlink is expanding its business by launching a new manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas. Foxlink Texas Inc. will produce SMT (Surface-Mount Technology) electronic products. As we build our operations from the ground up, we are seeking skilled and proactive Manufacturing Line Leads to support the daily execution, performance, and continuous improvement of our SMT manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for leading production teams, coordinating workflow, ensuring production targets are achieved, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
The Manufacturing Line Lead plays a critical role in managing SMT production activities, including line setup, operator coordination, equipment operation support, production monitoring, quality control, and process improvement initiatives. Candidates will be responsible for driving operational excellence, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with engineering, quality, and other cross-functional teams to meet manufacturing goals.

You will play a key role in supporting electronic product development, troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring reliable product performance from the very beginning.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Motivate team members to achieve manufacturing excellence and efficiently direct daily operations to meet production plans through effective leadership and decision-making skills.
- Manage both automated and manual Surface Mount Technology (SMT) manufacturing processes, including the installation, operation, setup, and adjustment of SMT printers, pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, AOI equipment, selective soldering machines, and wave soldering machines. Prepare production lines for new jobs, including material loading, first-piece verification, and monitoring production progress, efficiency, and yield performance through real-time data analysis.
- Conduct production meetings to review goals, assign tasks, address production issues, discuss quality assurance requirements, maintain documentation accuracy, and ensure production schedules are achieved.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize SMT manufacturing processes, improve productivity, reduce waste, and maintain a clean and organized surface mount assembly area.
- Lead daily team meetings and foster an inspiring team environment by promoting open communication, collaboration, and effective coordination between production teams and other functional areas.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: 2 to 5+ years of proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with hands-on experience leading production teams, coordinating daily operations, and supporting manufacturing processes in a high-volume production environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate team members to achieve production goals while ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
- Core Competencies: Deep understanding of 5S workplace organization methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, production schedules, process documents, quality requirements, and technical specifications.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on production accuracy, quality standards, documentation control, and meeting operational targets.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work assigned shifts.
