Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Unarmed Security Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment through vigilant surveillance, access control, and incident management. Your dedication will help foster a secure atmosphere for clients, visitors, and staff while adhering to all safety regulations and security protocols.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular patrols of designated premises to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches
Manage access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for authorized personnel and visitors
Utilize CCTV surveillance equipment to monitor property and identify potential security threats
Write detailed incident reports documenting any unusual occurrences or security incidents
Perform background checks on visitors or contractors as required by company policies
Respond promptly to emergency situations following established procedures, including first aid, AED operation, or fire safety protocols
Enforce compliance with security regulations and company policies during all interactions with visitors and staff
Qualifications
Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred
Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and access control technology
Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use is highly desirable
Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary
Strong conflict management and de-escalation skills to handle challenging situations professionally
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for patrolling and incident detection
Ability to write clear, concise incident reports and maintain accurate records
Physical fitness to stand, walk, or perform patrol duties for extended periods while maintaining alertness
