Description

Position Purpose

The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in executing marketing initiatives that enhance brand visibility, support business development, strengthen recruiting efforts, and promote LONG Building Technologies across diverse markets and business units. This position assists with a variety of marketing activities, including social media management, content development, graphic design, website maintenance, campaign coordination, and overall marketing operations.

Compensation Range: $50,000 - $55,000 per year, plus potential profit share.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and schedule social media content aligned with LONG's content calendar, recruiting initiatives, and marketing campaigns.
  • Capture and organize photo and video content from jobsites, branch offices, events, and employee activities to support brand and marketing initiatives.
  • Design and develop marketing materials including flyers, brochures, presentations, banners, email graphics, digital ads, and campaign assets.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating LONG's website, including blogs, landing pages, case studies, and other digital content.
  • Support SEO efforts through metadata updates, keyword implementation, internal linking, and adherence to content formatting best practices.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns, webinars, lead generation efforts, and paid advertising initiatives.
  • Draft, edit, and refine marketing content including blogs, email campaigns, social media copy, landing pages, and promotional materials, ensuring alignment with LONG's brand voice.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external marketing communications, materials, and promotional assets.
  • Partner with internal teams, manufacturers, vendors, and subject matter experts to gather content and support marketing initiatives across multiple markets and business units.
  • Assist with promotional product coordination, proofing, logo distribution, and fulfillment of branded collateral requests.
  • Support project tracking, timelines, and marketing deliverables using project management and collaboration tools such as Asana and Microsoft 365.
  • Maintain organized digital asset libraries, marketing documentation, campaign files, and photography/video resources.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field, or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet competing deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Basic mathematical and financial acumen.
  • Ability to work independently and drive projects through to completion.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B marketing within the construction, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
  • Knowledge of construction industry trends and customer pain points.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for content creation.
  • Experience with event planning and tradeshow coordination.

Physical Requirements

  • This position may require routine sitting, lifting, bending, and kneeling.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. from floor to countertop and countertop to floor.
