We are a rapidly expanding, multi-state restoration company specializing in contents, inventory, packout, cleaning, and packback services following water, fire, and mold losses. Our contents division is growing fast, and we promote high accountability, operational excellence, and leadership development.

Position Summary

The Pack Out General Manager / Operating Partner leads all aspects of contents restoration operations — from initial on-site packout through inventory, storage, cleaning, and final packback. This role carries full accountability for crew performance, warehouse operations, customer and stakeholder communication, and job-level profitability. The position is structured on an ownership-track pathway, with the successful candidate expected to progress into strategic planning, financial ownership, and branch growth responsibilities.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management
  • Oversee all packout operations, including on-site inventory, packing, transporting, cleaning, storage, and packback
  • Coordinate closely with mitigation, reconstruction, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth workflow and proper storage handling
  • Oversee warehouse organization, cleaning processes, ozone treatments, and item tracking
  • Maintain company equipment, vehicles, and storage areas, ensuring safety standards are followed at all times
Team Leadership
  • Manage and train packout technicians; assign daily tasks and ensure high standards of performance and accountability
  • Build and coach a high-performing team through delegation, feedback, and hands-on leadership
Documentation & Compliance
  • Perform detailed inventory using industry software such as JobNimbus, Encircle, ContentsTrack, or comparable systems
  • Ensure accurate documentation, including photos, item notes, non-restorable lists, chain-of-custody records, and customer signatures
Stakeholder Communication
  • Communicate proactively with customers, insurance adjusters, vendors, and internal departments
  • Serve as a primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring transparency and trust
Financial & Performance Oversight
  • Review job budgets, profit margins, labor utilization, and performance KPIs
  • Contribute to process improvements, SOP development, and operational scaling
Ownership-Track Responsibilities
  • Participate in strategic planning, operational forecasting, and branch growth initiatives as part of the ownership evaluation pathway
Qualifications

Experience

  • 2–4+ years of Supervisor / Lead experience in contents, packout, warehouse management, inventory, or restoration

Core Competencies

  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage teams, delegate effectively, and coach technicians
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills
  • Tech-savvy with restoration or inventory software (Encircle, ContentsTrack, JobNimbus, MICA, or similar)

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, move furniture, and manage the physical demands of packout operations
  • Comfortable working across varied environments and job conditions
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
