This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Vice President, Transaction Advisory Services, Healthcare (Financial Due Diligence) based in the United States.

This role sits at the center of healthcare-focused financial due diligence engagements supporting private equity and other transaction stakeholders.
You will lead the analytical execution of live buy-side and sell-side transactions, applying deep knowledge of healthcare financial dynamics to complex deal situations.
Working between Senior Associates and Directors, you will elevate the quality of analysis while keeping workstreams organized, accurate, and on schedule.
The position offers meaningful exposure to healthcare services businesses and the financial factors that influence transaction decisions.
You will contribute directly to quality of earnings, working capital, debt-like item, revenue, and operational analyses through a healthcare-specific lens.
The environment is fast-paced and collaborative, with significant responsibility for developing junior team members and delivering sponsor-ready work.
With hybrid and remote flexibility, this opportunity combines sector specialization, transaction exposure, and a clear path toward broader leadership responsibilities.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead healthcare-focused financial analysis across transaction advisory engagements, including quality of earnings, net working capital, debt-like items, revenue trends, and other financial diligence analyses.
  • Evaluate healthcare-specific financial drivers such as payor mix, reimbursement structures, revenue cycle performance, managed care arrangements, provider compensation, and cost structures.
  • Identify adjustments and financial trends that may affect normalized earnings and help transaction stakeholders understand the underlying performance of healthcare businesses.
  • Direct the day-to-day activities of Senior Associates and Associates by assigning work, reviewing deliverables, setting quality expectations, and keeping engagements on schedule.
  • Manage engagement data rooms, monitor incoming documentation, maintain open request lists, and ensure outstanding items are addressed promptly.
  • Draft sections of financial due diligence reports under Director guidance, translating analytical findings into clear, well-supported conclusions.
  • Prepare financial exhibits and develop sector-informed questions for management meetings and client discussions.
  • Participate in client calls and financial discussions, presenting findings clearly and responding accurately to follow-up questions.
  • Coordinate with tax advisors, legal teams, and other third-party advisors to maintain alignment across engagement workstreams.
  • Develop Senior Associates and Associates through hands-on coaching, substantive feedback, and guidance on healthcare-specific analytical approaches.
  • Escalate issues appropriately while independently resolving workstream matters and maintaining ownership of deliverables from start to finish.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in financial due diligence, transaction advisory, or public accounting, with meaningful experience supporting healthcare transactions.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare financial mechanics, including payor mix, reimbursement models, revenue cycle dynamics, managed care contracting, provider compensation, and related cost structures.
  • Hands-on experience performing quality of earnings analyses, net working capital assessments, debt-like item identification, and other financial diligence procedures.
  • Ability to interpret healthcare financial statements with an understanding of the operational factors behind the numbers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; an active CPA license or progress toward CPA certification is preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to produce accurate, structured, and review-ready financial workpapers.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to develop clear, logical, and concise report sections.
  • Demonstrated ability to delegate work effectively, establish clear expectations, review deliverables rigorously, and provide actionable feedback.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to identify issues early, manage competing priorities, and maintain momentum during live transactions.
  • Comfortable working in compressed deal timelines where priorities can shift quickly.
  • High attention to detail combined with the ability to identify and communicate the broader implications of financial findings.
  • Genuine interest in healthcare businesses and the operational factors that influence their financial performance.
  • Ability to receive feedback constructively, apply it quickly, and provide specific, useful guidance to colleagues.

Benefits:

  • Base salary of $133,000–$173,000 per year, depending on skills, experience, education, and qualifications.
  • Annual discretionary bonus targeted at 20% of base salary, with target total cash compensation of approximately $156,250–$207,600.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) plan with employer contribution.
  • Paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, and company holidays.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • Hybrid and remote work flexibility, with offices in Denver and Chicago.
  • Professional development support and continuing education reimbursement.
  • Participation in an employee ownership model.
  • Remote work eligibility with compensation based on the full posted range and not adjusted by geography.
  • Opportunity to develop specialized healthcare transaction advisory expertise and progress toward broader Director-level responsibilities.
