Robotic Welder - 2nd Shift in Ixonia, Wisconsin at K&S Manufacturing

The Robotic Welding Operator performs welding operations on automatic electric-arc welding machines to produce standard and repetitive parts while following established safety, quality, and production procedures. This position works under close supervision and is responsible for maintaining quality and dimensional accuracy.

Hours: 2pm-12am Monday-Thursday

Key Responsibilities

• Operate automatic electric-arc welding machines to complete standard and repetitive welding operations.
• Change fixtures and make machine adjustments according to established instructions and supervisor direction.
• Follow department procedures and quality requirements.
• Monitor work for quality and dimensional accuracy and report concerns to the supervisor.
• Work effectively with Tool Makers and other departments to support production requirements.
• Follow the company’s Quality Policy, ISO requirements, and safety procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Robotic Welding Leadman or supervisor.

Qualifications Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of welding techniques.
• Ability to use basic measurement and inspection tools, including rules, squares, protractors, templates, and gauges.
• Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, averages, ranges, and trends.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
