Teacher - Summer School in Southfield, Michigan at GPS Solutions LLC

School: Westside Christian Academy
Location: Detroit
Compensation: $30/hour
Program Dates: June 22 – July 30
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 4 hours daily

• Deliver engaging and interactive instruction to students.

• Follow curriculum guidelines, and scope and sequence created, maintain a structured and supportive learning environment.

• Conduct Pre and Post program assessments

• Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback and support.

• Collaborate with fellow educators to ensure instructional consistency and quality.

• Support all attendance and student retention efforts

Required:

• A minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university
  OR
  A passing score of 460 on the ETS Parapro Assessment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), databases, and social media platforms

  • Will need to upload documents in teams

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science or Arts in Education or related field

• Valid Michigan teaching certificate and applicable endorsement(s) as required by the Michigan Department of Education

• Meets Highly Qualified Teacher requirements
