This role focuses on ensuring the linguistic accuracy and quality of Czech-language transcription work within a fast-paced, remote project environment. You will act as a key quality reference point, reviewing transcriptions for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and overall language consistency. The position combines hands-on linguistic review with coordination responsibilities, including task oversight and workflow support. You will collaborate with distributed teams, respond to language-related queries, and help maintain high-quality standards across ongoing deliverables. Acting as both a reviewer and a communication hub, you will ensure issues are resolved efficiently or escalated when needed. This flexible, project-based opportunity is ideal for detail-oriented language experts who thrive in independent, remote work settings.
- Review Czech-language transcriptions for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and overall linguistic accuracy.
- Monitor task progress and help ensure smooth workflow execution across assigned workstreams.
- Serve as the first point of contact for quality-related questions and issues raised by reviewers.
- Follow established quality control guidelines and escalate unresolved issues to regional leadership when necessary.
- Communicate clearly and consistently in English with distributed team members and stakeholders.
- Support language consistency and transcription quality across all project deliverables.
- Contribute to maintaining high linguistic standards in a fast-moving, remote production environment.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Czech (ISO: cs_cz).
- Strong working proficiency in English, including written communication skills.
- Excellent command of grammar, orthography, punctuation, and linguistic accuracy.
- Prior experience in linguistics, translation, transcription, localization, or quality assurance is strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify subtle language inconsistencies.
- Reliable personal computer, stable internet connection, and ability to work independently in a remote setup.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with responsiveness in a distributed team environment.
- Ability to complete onboarding within two weeks.
- Strong web research skills and ability to quickly resolve language-related queries.
