Patient Account Representative in Asheboro, North Carolina at Randolph Health

Responsible for handling all aspects of patient collections and third party reimbursements. Corresponds with insurance companies when needed. High School Diploma or GED required. Intermediate level of knowledge of third party payer reimbursement. Ability to organize and coordinate assignments independently. Strong communications, interpersonal time management, organizational skills. High level of confidentiality, tact and diplomacy in interacting with patients, staff and insurance carriers. Minimum of 3 years’ experience with health care billing and/or follow-up, in an outpatient health care setting. Experience using a registration, billing and/or collection system required.
