Job Description

This position requires the delivery and pick up of local freight and backloads.

Qualifications and Education Requirements: Must have a valid CDL A license.One or more years of over the road driving and must be able to drive a tractor trailer (Preferred) Job DescriptionDuties/Responsibilities:

Report any maintenance issues on the vehicle for correction.
Ensure the truck is fueled regularly.
Maintain a safe driving record.
Follow all DOT Regulations (Including Medical Card Renewals)
Must be able to drive professionally and deliver freight in a timely manner according to dispatch’s requirements.
Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring compliance.
Assist with Maintenance Clean up on Trailers as requested

Required Skills/Abilities:

Must be able to professionally drive a tractor trailer.
Flexibility in schedules of drop off and pick up of products to and from customer sites.
Ability to back up truck / tractor trailer into dock area.
Ability to read and write English to understand customer orders.
Able to work Monday Thru Friday, with some Saturdays (As Requested)
Ability to complete ELD (electronic Log Device)
