Job Description

This position requires the delivery and pick up of local freight and backloads.

Qualifications and Education Requirements: Must have a valid CDL A license.One or more years of over the road driving and must be able to drive a tractor trailer (Preferred) Job DescriptionDuties/Responsibilities:
  • Report any maintenance issues on the vehicle for correction.
  • Ensure the truck is fueled regularly.
  • Maintain a safe driving record.
  • Follow all DOT Regulations (Including Medical Card Renewals)
  • Must be able to drive professionally and deliver freight in a timely manner according to dispatch’s requirements.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring compliance.
  • Assist with Maintenance Clean up on Trailers as requested
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Must be able to professionally drive a tractor trailer.
  • Flexibility in schedules of drop off and pick up of products to and from customer sites.
  • Ability to back up truck / tractor trailer into dock area.
  • Ability to read and write English to understand customer orders.
  • Able to work Monday Thru Friday, with some Saturdays (As Requested)
  • Ability to complete ELD (electronic Log Device)
