Bankruptcy Paralegal in Roseland, New Jersey at MCMANIMON SCOTLAND & BAUMANN LLC

McManimon, Scotland & Baumann, LLC is seeking a talented and motivated Paralegal to support its Bankruptcy & Restructuring and Litigation Services practices. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys on sophisticated commercial bankruptcy, insolvency, and fiduciary matters in both federal and state courts.

Job Description: The successful candidate will support attorneys in all aspects of debtor-creditor and restructuring matters, including:

• Preparing, organizing, and filing pleadings, motions, notices, and other documents in Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and related state court insolvency matters.
• Assisting with case management, docket monitoring, calendaring deadlines, and maintaining case files for bankruptcy and commercial litigation matters.
• Supporting attorneys with discovery, document review, claim reconciliation, exhibit preparation, and trial or hearing binders.
• Coordinating with clients, court personnel, trustees, vendors, and opposing counsel regarding filings, service, scheduling, and case-related materials.
• Conducting research, gathering supporting documentation, and assisting with the preparation of correspondence, reports, and client communications.

• Paralegal Certificate, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of relevant experience supporting bankruptcy, restructuring, creditors’ rights, or complex commercial litigation matters
• Strong organizational, writing, proofreading, and document management skills
• Experience with e-filing, docketing and calendaring deadlines
• Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Salary Range: $75,000-$95,000 Annually - Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and overall work background.
