Job Description

People & Performance Partner - Go to Market

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a People & Performance Partner - Go to Market based in Australia.

This role sits at the center of a high-performance Go-to-Market organization, acting as a true commercial partner to leaders and managers rather than a traditional HR support function. You will work closely with Customer and GTM teams across Australia to elevate leadership capability, improve team performance, and strengthen execution in fast-moving, ambiguous environments. The role is deeply embedded in the business, requiring you to identify early signals in people dynamics, coach managers through complex conversations, and help build clarity, accountability, and high standards across teams. You will influence decisions across a regional GTM footprint, ensuring people strategy is tightly aligned with commercial outcomes. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where judgment, speed, and directness matter as much as process. It is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and wants their work to directly shape business performance and culture.

Accountabilities
  • Partner closely with Go-to-Market and Customer leaders to drive performance, leadership capability, and team effectiveness across the Australia region.
  • Coach managers through performance conversations, employee relations matters, and leadership challenges with sound judgment and practical guidance.
  • Identify patterns in team dynamics and organizational health, proactively addressing risks before they escalate.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, balancing people needs with commercial priorities and operational demands.
  • Support the development of high-performance culture by reinforcing standards, accountability, and clear expectations.
  • Contribute to regional people strategy, ensuring alignment between business goals and workforce planning.
  • Translate organizational signals into actionable insights for leadership, improving decision-making and execution quality.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in HR, People Partnering, or similar roles within fast-paced, high-performance environments.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to connect people decisions to business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to coach leaders and managers through complex people and performance situations.
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to challenge directly while maintaining strong relationships.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and making sound decisions with incomplete information.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify patterns, interpret organizational signals, and act proactively.
  • Experience working with Go-to-Market, sales, or customer-facing teams is highly desirable.
  • Bias for action, speed, and ownership rather than heavy process or bureaucracy.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation aligned with experience and impact.
  • Flexible remote-first working model within Australia.
  • Opportunity to directly influence Go-to-Market performance and organizational success.
  • High-growth environment with strong exposure to senior leadership.
  • Culture of ownership, autonomy, and fast decision-making.
  • Strong focus on professional development and continuous learning.
  • Opportunity to work on meaningful, real-world business challenges.
  • Inclusive and high-performance culture that values clarity, feedback, and impact.
