This role sits within a sophisticated wealth planning environment supporting high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients with complex financial needs. The Senior Associate contributes directly to the design and delivery of advanced financial planning strategies, working alongside senior planners on client relationships and strategic case development. The position combines analytical depth with client-facing responsibilities, including preparation of planning cases, participation in advisory calls, and ongoing portfolio monitoring. It is a highly collaborative role within a fast-paced, intellectually driven team where continuous learning and feedback are central to development. The work spans multiple domains including tax, estate, insurance, investment, and retirement planning. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented and motivated planner seeking exposure to complex wealth strategies and meaningful client impact.

Accountabilities:
  • Prepare and present financial planning cases for clients and prospects, typically within the $5M–$15M asset range, supporting senior advisors in client engagements.
  • Develop, analyze, and refine comprehensive financial plans and wealth management strategies aligned with client goals and evolving financial circumstances.
  • Participate in client and internal planning calls, including debrief sessions, role plays, and feedback-driven learning activities to continuously improve advisory capabilities.
  • Maintain and enhance client financial plans using planning tools, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and alignment with changing client needs.
  • Gather and organize client data in preparation for planning meetings, ensuring high-quality inputs for analysis and recommendations.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and content development, including webinars, internal communications, and published articles in collaboration with marketing teams.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying prospects and assisting with client acquisition initiatives.
  • Engage in ongoing client reviews, tracking financial changes and updating strategies as needed over time.
  • Collaborate with senior planners and cross-functional teams to improve planning processes and deliver consistent client outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or active progress toward CFP strongly preferred.
  • Experience using financial planning software such as eMoney, with strong technical proficiency in planning tools.
  • Strong understanding of core financial planning disciplines including tax, estate, insurance, investments, and employee benefits.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, along with strong skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced advisory environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex financial concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-based advisory structure.
  • Strong initiative, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to continuously learn and refine technical expertise.
