This senior commercial role is focused on driving the adoption and growth of advanced energy-based medical technologies within a defined Canadian territory.
You will be responsible for managing complex sales cycles and developing strong, long-term relationships with healthcare professionals and distribution partners.
The position requires a strategic, field-based approach to identifying opportunities, expanding market penetration, and achieving ambitious sales targets.
You will play a key role in educating clinical stakeholders on product value, applications, and procedural benefits.
Working autonomously, you will manage large accounts and coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
This role combines strategic account development, market insight, and hands-on sales execution in a highly competitive medtech environment.
You will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the adoption of energy-based medical solutions across your territory, while strengthening long-term partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Promote and sell medical technology products and services to healthcare professionals and distributors within an assigned region
- Develop, maintain, and expand strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clinical teams and distribution partners
- Identify new business opportunities, pursue leads, and convert prospects into long-term customers
- Deliver product education, training, and clinical support to ensure effective product utilization
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform strategic sales planning and account development
- Execute market development strategies and adjust approaches based on evolving customer and market needs
- Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, marketing, operations) by sharing customer insights and feedback on product performance
- Manage large and complex accounts, often involving cross-functional coordination and multi-stakeholder engagement
- Negotiate agreements and ensure continued product access and distribution within assigned accounts
You bring significant experience in medical device, healthcare, or life sciences sales, with a strong ability to manage complex accounts and influence clinical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combinations of education and experience (Associate’s degree with 6+ years, or High School Diploma with 8+ years)
- Proven background in medical device, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences sales
- Strong ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships with clinical and commercial stakeholders
- Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to adapt sales approaches based on market dynamics
- Experience working with complex, multi-stakeholder accounts and sales processes
