Position Summary
Looking for a stable, full-time position with a consistent afternoon/evening schedule? Anchor Bay Powder Coat is hiring Manufacturing Technicians for our 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM shift in New Baltimore. No prior powder coating or manufacturing experience is required. We provide hands-on training and opportunities for growth for dependable individuals who are safety-conscious, motivated, and eager to learn.

- Regular schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
- This is an afternoon/evening shift and not an overnight position
- Training may be conducted on 1st shift before transitioning to the regular schedule
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will support production operations and help ensure customer orders are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
Responsibilities may include:
- Loading and unloading parts from production lines
- Preparing parts through cleaning, masking, plugging, and staging
- Assisting with powder coating and finishing operations
- Inspecting parts to ensure quality and customer requirements are met
- Packaging and preparing finished products for shipment
- Completing required production documentation
- Reporting quality, safety, or equipment concerns
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Following all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
The following experience is helpful but not required:
- Manufacturing or production experience
- Powder coating experience
- Material handling experience
- Forklift operation experience
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequently bend, reach, twist, kneel, and lift throughout the shift
- Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds as needed
- Work in an industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, dust, and production equipment
- Wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, respirators, and other protective equipment as required
