Learfield is seeking a hands-on, business-minded AI builder who can turn real commercial needs into practical solutions. The Commercial AI Solutions Manager is an individual contributor who will work directly with sales, service, and business leaders to understand how work gets done, identify opportunities to improve it, and personally prototype, build, test, and refine AI-enabled solutions that make our teams more effective.

This role is intentionally broader than a traditional technical position. The right candidate may come from sales, commercial operations, finance, consulting, business systems, technology, or another business function. What matters most is demonstrated curiosity, a builder's mindset, and evidence that you have used AI and automation to solve real problems. You do not need to be a software engineer or have spent your career in AI.

As Learfield's technology ecosystem becomes increasingly AI-enabled, this role will help connect capabilities across approved platforms and work in close partnership with IT, Enterprise AI, Data Engineering, and technology partners within established technology, security, data, and governance standards.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with sellers, service teams, and business leaders to understand workflows, identify friction, and translate business needs into practical AI-enabled solutions.
  • Personally build and configure AI agents, copilots, workflow automations, prompt-based tools, and connected experiences using modern AI and automation platforms.
  • Bring together information and capabilities across systems - for example CRM, email/calendar, collaboration tools, content repositories, and other approved business platforms - to create useful end-to-end workflows.
  • Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate: put solutions in front of users, gather feedback, refine the experience, and scale what works.
  • Work closely with IT and other technical partners to understand available data, integrations, permissions, security requirements, and production pathways.
  • Help the Commercial organization become smarter and more confident using AI through training, coaching, prompt libraries, playbooks, and practical examples.
  • Stay current on rapidly evolving AI capabilities and identify relevant ideas, tools, and practices that can improve how our teams work.
  • Measure adoption, productivity, quality, and business impact and continuously improve solutions based on results.

What This Role Is — and Isn't:

This is a business-facing, hands-on builder and workflow problem-solver. It is not a software engineering, data science, machine learning, enterprise AI platform ownership, or IT administration role. We are looking for someone who can personally create useful solutions within Learfield's approved technology environment while partnering closely with the teams responsible for enterprise platforms, infrastructure, security, data, and governance.

Success Looks Like:

  • AI-enabled solutions are launched that solve real problems and measurably improve sales and service productivity.
  • Users adopt the solutions because they are practical, intuitive, and make their work better.
  • Ideas move quickly from business need to prototype to tested solution, with successful capabilities scaled in partnership with IT and other platform owners.
  • Commercial teams become more capable and confident using AI through reusable tools, prompts, workflows, and education.
  • The organization continuously learns from what is built, creating a growing base of practical AI knowledge and capabilities.

Who Will Thrive:

You are the person who hears, "I wonder if AI could help us do this better," and immediately starts figuring out how. You enjoy learning new tools, experimenting, building, and sharing what works with others. You can move comfortably between a conversation with a business user and a conversation with a technical partner.

  • Naturally curious and self-directed, with a track record of teaching yourself new tools and capabilities.
  • A hands-on builder who can point to things you have personally created, configured, automated, or prototyped.
  • Strong business and workflow instincts - you start with the problem and the user, not the technology.
  • Comfortable experimenting quickly, learning from what does not work, and improving solutions through feedback.
  • Able to communicate clearly with both business users and technical partners.
  • Interested in helping others learn and adopt new ways of working, not simply building tools for them.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience solving business problems, improving workflows, implementing solutions, or working across business and technology teams. Relevant backgrounds may include sales, commercial operations, finance, consulting, business systems, product implementation, digital transformation, technology, automation, or process improvement.
  • Hands-on experience using generative AI, agents, copilots, workflow automation, or related tools to build practical solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to personally prototype, test, refine, and implement a solution - whether as part of your formal job, an internal initiative, or self-directed work.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Evidence of continuous learning and active engagement with the rapidly evolving AI landscape.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, information systems, computer science, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience connecting AI or automation across multiple business platforms or workflows.
  • Hands-on familiarity with modern tools such as Microsoft Copilot/Copilot Studio, Power Automate, ChatGPT Work/Codex, Claude/Claude Code/Cowork, or similar AI, agent, and automation technologies.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems; specific Learfield systems experience is not required.
  • Practical familiarity with APIs, integrations, permissions/authentication, low-code/no-code tools, or MCP-enabled platforms.
  • Relevant AI coursework, certifications, conferences, communities, or other evidence of substantive self-directed learning.
  • Experience helping colleagues adopt AI, automation, or new technology through training, shared tools, playbooks, or informal leadership.
  • Sports, media, advertising, sponsorship, sales, service, revenue operations, or consulting experience.

Learfield offers a full spectrum of benefits for eligible employees including Medical, Dental, Vision, Health Savings Account, Life Insurance and Other Insurance Plans, Flexible Paid Time Off (minimum 10+ days annually), including Parental Leave, 20 Paid Holidays, 401(k) + Match, and Short/Long Term Disability. Leave benefits are consistent with state and local laws, including the Colorado Health Families and Workplaces Act.

Learfield is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We provide equal employment opportunities to applicants and employees without regard to race; color; sex; gender identity; sexual orientation; religious practices and observances; national origin; pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions; status as a protected veteran or spouse/family member of a protected veteran; or disability.
