The Senior Research Specialist serves as a highly skilled scientific professional responsible for supporting and advancing research initiatives within the laboratory and across collaborative research programs. This exempt position provides advanced technical expertise, contributes to study design and execution, manages complex research activities, and helps ensure the integrity, quality, and compliance of scientific research.

• Conduct and oversee complex laboratory experiments and research protocols.

• Analyze, interpret, and summarize scientific data and research findings.

• Collaborate with Principal Investigators, faculty, postdoctoral fellows, research staff, and students on research projects.

• Maintain laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and research resources.

• Assist in the development of grant proposals, manuscripts, presentations, and scientific reports.

• Ensure compliance with institutional, regulatory, safety, and ethical research standards.

• Train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to junior research staff, students, and laboratory personnel.

• Coordinate research activities, project timelines, and data management processes.

• Contribute to innovation, continuous improvement, and scientific excellence within the institution.

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline required; Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred.

• Significant experience in laboratory research, scientific methods, and data analysis.

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex research projects and scientific collaborations.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience working in an academic, research, healthcare, biotechnology, or life sciences environment preferred.
