Job Description
Craft is an upscale European-style dining vessel seating up to 150 guests with indoor, outdoor with bar seating options. This beautiful 130-foot vessel is conveniently docked near Sparkman Wharf and offers premium dining experiences while cruising along the Hillsborough River and passing beneath the low bridges.
With an elevated food menu and craft cocktails, this is a unique experience unlike any other in Florida. We are the first dining vessel in the United States with an open kitchen concept and the ONLY dining vessel in the United States cooking with gas equipment.

The River Journey
The Host is one of the first and last points of contact for guests, so their role is all about customer experience, organization, and flow of service.
What You’ll Do
- Escort guests to their tables
- Distribute menus
- Ensure proper seating rotation so servers are balanced
- Work closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff
- Keep communication flowing about table availability
- Help maintain smooth service during busy periods
- Keep host stand clean and organized
- Ensure areas are presentable
- Maintain sanitation, hygiene, and department of health compliance and maritime standards
- Participate in safety drills and follow all vessel safety procedures
- Work collaboratively to support smooth onboard operations
What You Bring
- 0-1 years of hospitality experience required; upscale or high-volume experience preferred
- Excellent communication and guest-service skills
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Comfortable working aboard vessels in tight spaces and dynamic environments
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as needed
- Ability to work onboard for 2–5 hour cruises; occasional extended shifts up to 12 hours
- Valid Food Handler’s Card preferred (e.g., ServSafe) or must obtain within 2 weeks of hire
- Valid Responsible Alcohol Service Certification preferred upon hire or must be obtained within 2 weeks of hire
