Job Description

Senior Talent Partner (Tech)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Talent Partner (Tech) in Germany.

This is a high-impact, builder-style talent role in a fast-scaling startup environment where hiring quality directly shapes company trajectory. You will own end-to-end recruiting across both technical and commercial functions, partnering closely with founders and leadership to define what “great” looks like for every hire. The role goes far beyond traditional recruitment: you will build and manage talent pipelines with a long-term, relationship-driven mindset, while operating with the discipline and precision of a sales function. You will help design and continuously improve hiring systems, ensuring speed, quality, and consistency across all stages of the recruitment process. Working in a high-performance, remote-first culture, you will influence not only who joins the company, but also how it scales its talent engine. This is a role for someone who thrives in ownership-heavy environments and wants to help shape a category-defining business.

Accountabilities:
  • Own full-cycle recruitment for technical roles (engineering, product, design) as well as commercial roles (sales, GTM, customer success), ensuring high-quality hiring outcomes across functions.
  • Build, maintain, and continuously nurture strong talent pipelines, treating candidate relationships as long-term engagements rather than transactional interactions.
  • Partner directly with founders and hiring managers to define role requirements, challenge assumptions, and refine hiring briefs based on market realities.
  • Drive proactive sourcing strategies beyond job boards, identifying and engaging high-quality passive candidates across European tech and SaaS markets.
  • Manage recruitment pipelines with strong analytical discipline, tracking conversion rates, time-to-hire, sourcing effectiveness, and funnel health.
  • Design and optimize hiring workflows, automating and systematizing sourcing, outreach, and tracking processes to improve scalability and efficiency.
  • Ensure a structured, fast, and candidate-respectful interview process while maintaining high hiring standards.
  • Contribute to employer branding and talent marketing initiatives, strengthening market perception and candidate engagement.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in recruitment, with strong exposure to European tech hiring environments and cross-border talent markets.
  • Proven track record hiring in early-stage startups (Seed or Series A), demonstrating success in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments.
  • Strong ability to recruit for technical roles, with enough technical fluency to engage confidently with engineers and understand software development stacks.
  • Experience hiring across both technical and commercial functions, including engineering, product, sales, and customer-facing roles.
  • Background in SaaS or AI-driven startups, with familiarity in competitive talent markets and high-growth hiring dynamics.
  • Strong sourcing mindset, treating recruitment as a pipeline-driven function with consistent outreach and long-term candidate nurturing.
  • Highly data-driven approach, with experience tracking recruiting KPIs and continuously optimizing performance based on insights.
  • Strong ownership mentality, with the ability to independently manage priorities, solve hiring challenges, and deliver results.
  • Resilient and persistent approach to sourcing and engagement, especially for hard-to-fill or niche roles.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence working directly with founders and senior leadership.
  • Experience in employer branding, recruitment marketing, or agency environments is considered a strong advantage.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary package with equity participation.
  • 26 days of annual leave plus local public holidays.
  • Comprehensive private health insurance coverage.
  • €1,000 annual personal development budget for learning and growth.
  • Access to modern AI and recruiting tools to support sourcing and productivity.
  • Latest work equipment, including a high-spec MacBook provided from day one.
  • Remote-first working model with co-working space budget and flexible workspace support.
  • Annual team summits in international locations to foster connection and collaboration.
  • Strong ownership culture where employees actively shape processes, culture, and company direction.
